After more than a year of planning, meetings and iterations, Oakland's Multi-Use Path Strategy (MPS) is ready! The final draft is available for viewing by clicking here. The MPS is made up of two volumes. Volume I is intended to be the guiding document, and Volume II is the appendix (containing all of the materials generated during the development of the MPS).

The Oakland MPS is not a formal City project yet. It is planning document intended to better enable the City to obtain funding and show readiness and support for such a project (a critical step in realizing the path). In addition to Volume I of the MPS (linked above), more information is available here and here. You can also watch a short introductory video here.

A public hearing is scheduled for the adoption of the Oakland Multi-Use Path Strategy at 7:00 pm on November 7th, 2017 at Oakland City Hall.

A hard copy of the MPS is available for review at City Hall
